Who I am
My name is Lee Raven, I’m a registered member of the BACP and a Level 4 Diploma qualified person-centred counsellor and psychotherapist.
My career roots are firmly embedded in youth work and specialist education.
I’m a working class man who generally prefers being outdoors, doing something creative.
My experience
I have previously worked within primary and secondary schools the Rotherham area of South Yorkshire, supporting children and young people who have identified Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs to fully access their education.
As a youth worker I have been fortunate enough to work across many areas in Sheffield, Yorkshire and beyond with countless inspiring, talented, resourceful and resilient young people (and colleagues).
I truly believe in building positive and purposeful relationships built on mutual trust and respect to support people to reach their full potential.
Cliché or not, I try to be the person that I’ve always needed.
As a counsellor, I’ve gone on to specialise in working with Relationships, Trauma, Neurodivergence, Domestic and Sexual Abuse.
